So, Manic Monday’s are all about Motivation and Musings

So, today’s Musing is brought to you by the letter M for Motivation.

What truly motivates you?

Money?

Success?

Acceptance?

Love?

Are you driven by what other people think of you or is there something inside that keeps you going because you know that you can do more? Is there a nagging dream or thought in the corner of your mind that you just can’t let go of?

Well, for me and I am sure for some of you, not accomplishing that ‘thing’ can cause a little empty feeling inside. It’s like their is definite happiness and good things going on in life, but there is a blank that needs to filled in. My loved ones motivate me to reach my potential but I just can’t/or haven’t taken the steps to do all of what I know I should. And honestly I don’t want to let them or myself down. I want them to be proud of me and I want to be proud of myself and my life.

But to be honest with you, fear is holding me back. Yet, I must use the God-given gifts I have or I will not truly feel satiety. Keeping it short and sweet, the only thing that any of us can do is throw caution to the wind and absolutely go for it. No more talking about it, mulling it over or making justifications/blame as to why this great feat has not occurred. Whatever this remaining item is on your to-do-list, join me and let’s check it off together. There are less than 2 months left in this year, so I will be reporting my progress sporadically towards my formerly unattainable goal.

I would love to hear from those who accomplished something huge or small, whatever your albatross was. Or for those who aren’t there yet, if you want to let me know what’s on your list privately, please email me. (This can be a group effort! Dee@simplydeeindc.com) I can’t wait to hear from you all!

I have tons of education and don't use it! I am non-traditional and traditional rolled into one person. I am a Christian, but need work! I am conservative fiscally, but I could care less who someone marries. My favorite things to do are: hang out with my kid, watch movies, read, write, sing, dance, love, live life to the fullest! I love: my kid, my cat, my best guy D, God, rain, chocolate, Christmas, friends, cats, animals in general, honesty, avocados, love, Hallmark channel, iced coffee, Harry Potter, NYC, England, Italy, D.C., Paris and autumn.
