So, the little things are what truly matter in the end-a poem for DJ

Listening to endless droning about my crazy job

Taking the car to get repairs

Calling to make sure I am in the Uber and safe

Drying tears over feelings hurt once again

An impromptu lunch to celebrate a small success

Trying new things like apple picking to celebrate my traditions

Buying me more new reads on our Sunday Barnes and Noble dates

Laughing at my ridiculous songs dedicated to my cat

Being the best partner any girl could ask for

Opening my door in a world where chivalry is dead

Getting rid of the comfy striped shirts to please me

Changing the life you’ve known to merge with mine

Giving your all to me no matter how tired and spent you are

Caring for your parents and dealing with mine in a kind way

Creating a bond with the kid like she’s your own

Loving in a way that I have never been shown (unconditionally)

You are my 3rd heartbeat, a blessing I can’t believe

I want you to know you are truly valued and cherished

All of the little things you do are huge to me

To others they may seem quite ordinary

But to me they make me feel like royalty

Like a queen who is reigning for the 1st time

Thanks for the little big things

They truly are what matter the most when all is said and done

I have tons of education and don't use it! I am non-traditional and traditional rolled into one person. I am a Christian, but need work! I am conservative fiscally, but I could care less who someone marries. My favorite things to do are: hang out with my kid, watch movies, read, write, sing, dance, love, live life to the fullest! I love: my kid, my cat, my best guy D, God, rain, chocolate, Christmas, friends, cats, animals in general, honesty, avocados, love, Hallmark channel, iced coffee, Harry Potter, NYC, England, Italy, D.C., Paris and autumn.
