We had a great day today. First off, we started with Starbucks, and you guys don’t know me well, but I love some Sbux!! Then we went tubing in PA. Pretty fun. I am too chicken to ski. And, that is the truth! During our time in line, a couple of counties were out of school, so it was packed, I did editing. I am so good at editing other people’s work. I could probably do a better job at editing on my own blog to be honest, but I think it is easy to edit for someone else because they are doing the hard part. They are coming up with the idea and the execution of it. I am simply changing words around. I kind of got excited today when I saw on social media a few things that I helped with. It may not be a big deal to some, but it was “mad cool” to me.:)
Anyway, I have got to stop this coffee thing. On the way back from tubing we did Sbux again. I had already had a refill on iced coffee this morning. Hence, I am up at 2am. I haven’t finished my workout. I have to be out of the house at 9ish tomorrow for a class my daughter takes and then I have to be at one of the trendy DC eateries around lunchish for a baby shower. So, I won’t be home most of the day tomorrow, and I will have to work out again. I am so afraid I will have to do coffee to keep going and the vicious cycle continues because I have church Sunday morning, so no sleeping in for Dee. And, I am starting to do more in regards to my virtual insurance billing job I do. Good for money, I have to be up bright and early Monday morning. JOY!!!
I am going to try really hard to curb my coffee addiction next week. It’s like I need to get through the next few days and then I will lay off of coffee a lot. Sounds like any other addict huh? I actually went 2 months in the spring without coffee due to clean eating. I made it okay without it and I slept more. But I missed the ritual of it and the option to drink it to wake me up if I didn’t get enough zzzzz’s. Do any of you have this coffee bug? It only adds to the issue that I have never fully grown up from my teenage years in regards to sleep habits. Even being a mom, I still am not a real morning person. I can be pleasant during the morning, but I don’t really want to talk before 10 am. But, unfortunately since I have to operate in this world as an adult, I get to do the fun ‘grown up’ things like wake up and make breakfast and do fun business calls. These very reasons are why I tell my child to enjoy the HE– out of childhood. Really.
Hope you guys had a fab Friday and that your Saturday is as relaxing or as exciting as you wish!
simply~
