So, I really do try to stay joyous…

We went sledding at this awesome National Park in our area yesterday. It was beautiful and the hills are enormous! But then, out of nowhere came the “Hill Nazis”. These are moms that had to watch over their children who were all over 8 years old, therefore they decided to watch over everyone else’s as well. I sat on a cleaned off picnic table with my feet up on bench because my boots weren’t doing the job of keeping my feet warm. But, I could see the kids I was with.

My daughter came back upset because the women were letting their kids break in line and telling other kids where to stand and to move out of the way, etc. Being the feisty person I am, I told the mothers that they don’t need to instruct my kid or anyone I am with. One of the moms said that her son was told to shutup by my kid. I explained that I highly doubt that was true because my kid isn’t confrontational like I am. She is respectful and follows the rules unlike I. It ended with me saying that she needs to mind her business and watch her own kid and not tell everyone else to do under the guise of being safe. I walked away and their mouths were open. Oh well.

I got home last night after dark and the spot I had shoveled out was taken. Oh well, live in condos/apts/townhomes with no assigned spaces and it happens! But it took me 15 minutes to park because people marked their spots with shovels and other items with signs saying that they dug it out so don’t park there, a bit passive aggressive with their angry signs. On Sunday or Monday, I could even understand. Anyway,I found a spot and that was that. I did call the complex though and asked them to address it so parking would not be an issue again. I got home at 4:30 today and the golf bag idiot had their bag out again. So, I sat it in the snow pile next to it. Whomever they live with, had already put it back when I went out to the trash. Really? Four days after we had snow and 2-3 days after the dig out?

So, I am kinda not joyous right now. I am joyous about living and waking up and having a home and my kid and family and friends. But people in general are so so annoying. They are so passive aggressive and just stupid. The older I get, the less I like people-adults particularly. I could hang out with kids and pets and be happy because at least they don’t act in such a childish manner. Sound crazy? Kids may be child-like, but many of them want to just make friends and have fun and don’t overthink the hell out of everything. Know what I mean? Trying not to rant, but being inside too much plus the behavior of morons is taxing!!!

I promise that my next post will be less complaint and more zen. That is unless a “grown up” gets on my last nerve and I have to get all ATL on them. If you aren’t sure what they means, it means go off.:) I am from GA, and us peaches are a bit spicy when provoked. I’m signing off for now! Hope that your day is/was great. Happy thoughts coming your way in the next post!

I have tons of education and don't use it! I am non-traditional and traditional rolled into one person. I am a Christian, but need work! I am conservative fiscally, but I could care less who someone marries. My favorite things to do are: hang out with my kid, watch movies, read, write, sing, dance, love, live life to the fullest! I love: my kid, my cat, my best guy D, God, rain, chocolate, Christmas, friends, cats, animals in general, honesty, avocados, love, Hallmark channel, iced coffee, Harry Potter, NYC, England, Italy, D.C., Paris and autumn.
