So, they really don’t like us…

They Don’t Like Us

We shrink, we lie. We don’t stand, we die.

Being untrue hurts. Pretending, worse.

We stood, were recognized. Our stock went down, villainized.

They won. We lost. Not complying came with a cost.

Masses misled.  Facts were fiction, rejecting what is real instead.

They worked hard to stay blind. Talking anchors were nectar and balm, their kind.

Digital manipulators they greedily sought. Proof be damned, loyalty was bought.

Their small minds, walnut-sized brains. Sacrificing freedom for fear was in vain.

They want blood for rejection of schemes. We were warned in 1984’s themes.

Up is down they implore us to believe. Deny fallacy, daggers wield from their sleeves.

Being smart is wrong, it defies the game. Faceless, hopeless, identity gone, no name.

Progressives know best, self-saviors to destitute. Deny their falsehood, their bigotry more resolute.

Choose the ‘safe side’ from violence and scorn. Adopt their cause, their personal porn.

Freethinkers, a relic of a liberalized past. The hippies tout “the man” they formerly outcast.

Where has the will of the flower child gone? Buried in consumerism, their prison, their home.

Hypocrites and heroes share the same side. There is no real option, just a plan to divide.

Accepting agenda as gospel, the kingdom will fall. Minds, souls, will, all.

Big horns sound, which choice then? Will cognitive dissonance be a means to their end?
