So, it is February, and I am behind! Granted, I just moved as a mid-Gen Xer to a new city, so I am playing catch up since it has only been a month. But I am not writing daily or putting things in my planner or doing anything I thought I would do.
What is it about being a grown-up that makes time go by so quickly? I get off at 4, and after straightening up and cooking and cleaning up, it is 10 before I know it.
I am overtired. I am settling in. But why is it so hard to start a schedule and be disciplined? I work from home now, and I used to have to do this full-time job plus balance 3 other gigs from my business.
How do you guys find the time? Energy? Motivation?
My thoughts are this:
*Just Start Now (no time like the present)
*Add 1 New “Thing” per week, max (developing a habit takes time)
*Post a vision board (seeing goals in words or pictures are good motivators)
This is what I am going to do to make this year really count. We only have so many!
I started my meal planning this week. Next week, I will incorporate exercise. I am going to get a desk sized board to put inspirational photos/words/quotes, this weekend.
What are your hopes or aspirations?
Do you have anything special to share about how you carve time out for success, dreams or achievements? Please leave a comment below or email me!
We can help each other!
