What do you complain about the most?
So my biggest complaint, is definitely PEOPLE. People are:
Selfish
Unpredictable
Disloyal
Uninformed
Lacking in Depth
Do I fall into one of these catrgories? Sure! Definitely the 2nd one and at times, the first. But I have seen so many people, lately, fall into all 4. We live in a me first world. And the temporary state of social media trends and fans, certainly does not help!
Now of course, there are good people. And my kid and best guy are good to their core. I also have a couple of friends who are just wonderful and giving, through and through. As time goes by though, I have begun to realize that there is a lack of solidness and reliability in relationships from romantic, to friends to family.
Perhaps that is what “the man” wants. Lack of real communication community, therfore cohesiveness as a society. Maybe I am taking this writing prompt a little too far or a little to serious. But I have noticed as a former people person, that humans are just not as evolved as they should be.
Perhaps that is why I spend all of my time with my cat, my little crew and my books. I am so “over” people that I am listening to “How to Win Friends and Influence People”, to change my mind a bit about my fellow human beings.

Thank you for your kind and intelligent response. What I have learned from Carnegie, or his examples of Lincoln’s behavior, is to pause or simply stop before reacting. Sometimes we have to “read” someone who is unkind or who we deem is a crappy person. Unfortunately establishing respect is the only way simple people can comprehend. But other times, not reacting is the actual win. I look forward to reading your writing!
