What job would you do for free?

So, this is a no-brainer! I absolutely, positively adore animals. I would love, love, love to work at a petting zoo/farm situation. Maybe 5 to 10 hours a week I could volunteer, because unfortunately I need real work to pay for stuff.:).

I can imagine feeding ducks, goats, sheep and farm cats, pigs, etc. It would be amazing. Animals are innocent and kind and loving and being around their beautiful spirits on a regular basis would be a dream. Not to mention they can be hilarious. And they have no bad intentions.

I know it is a lot of work to care for animals, especially farm animals. A ton. But the opportunity to cuddle with and bond with different animals would be so cool. I spend a lot of my time sharing animal videos, chilling with my cat and dreaming of having a lot of land to have more animals. I also pet sit 5 mornings a week and I am a lifelong pet owner. So this is no passing phase!

I think that some people are just animal people, and that is I. I honestly feel for those who do not understand the joy and beauty that animals can bring. They are more sensitive and intelligent than many people realize. They mourn and get bored. They may not have the same cognitive abilities but they can do more than people think.

In essence, a job where I could be outdoors, caring for God’s creatures would be something I would be more than glad to offer my time to. Maybe one day I will have the extra space in my schedule to volunteer to do just that. One can only hope!
