So, have I told you how interesting I am?:) I will settle on 2 titles- I Did It My Way, Come What May or Who Cares What People Think, I Don’t!

I have always been a quirky/out-of-the-box/not the status quo kinda gal. I hung around who I wanted in high school no matter race/background etc which was a big deal as a supposed proper white girl in a small southern town, not behaving in a manner that was expected of me.

There has always been something inside of me that has wanted people to like me but that is only a worry for so long. At the root of it, I like who I am too much for it to bother me if people do not care for me. And when I was younger I liked to show how different and carefree I was by funky outfits or fake nose rings. I wanted to celebrate my uniqueness and bother people with it. I felt sorry for the folks at my school who fell into the categories- prep, jock, druggie, nerd etc. I never let myself be boxed into one thing because there is so much versatility in my life!

I love music from Broadway to 90s hip hop to 80s pop. I love reading and writing but also watch Real Housewives shows, and you will also catch me at the local indie film spot. Anyhow, you get the point. I do things on my own terms. I will do a longer post at another time as there is so much more to this story.
