So, I am thankful to be born here. For the people that aren’t, I don’t understand…

This is a patriotic post, so if you aren’t a patriot, don’t read or comment if you don’t like the U.S. I know that our country has a scandalous past and a rocky history. But have you ever known of any country to be perfect? This whole anti-Columbus day business and flag burning in the U.S. is crap. I am not proud of a lot of things that have happened, but I am proud of so many things that did. I am so proud of our soldiers. Don’t agree with the wars? Blame the world leaders. Including our president. But please be supportive of those who have died and fought for our precious freedoms.

Like the gay marriage legislation? Hate it? Either way, we have freedoms in this country that people die because of in the middle east. Being gay here has not been easy for folks. But being gay in middle east means dying. Interracial marriage was banned here for so long, but marrying outside of one’s race or religion does not happen everywhere. In many cultures, you are forced to do what a minority of people say is right and that is what is great about our country. It may have taken a long time for things to turn around in regards to discrimination, but life is better here in the U.S. except for Christians.

I get so sick of people saying what the Christians did during the Crusades was so terrible. But as a whole, Christians have not done anything close to that in a very long time. KKK? They do not count as Christians, so don’t bring that up. But there are mass killings all over the world in the name of religion and no one says a word about it. But Christians are terrible, and Americans are greedy. What is happening in so many countries right now is frightening and deplorable, but people still complain about our great nation?!

Well, there is always a way out of here. There are many that love this country that would be happy to move here and take the place of those ridiculous people who think that our history is shameful and disgusting. It isn’t sparkly and white and unblemished, but we are a nation of compassionate and giving people. We have thousands of fire fighters, police officers and soliders and teaches who have changed the lives of countless people who have shaped this country. There are always bad politics or people in every part of the world and in every situation. But from where I am standing, I think that we have it pretty good here.

All I can do is pray for our leaders whether I care for them or not. I can pray that our country is not taken over by the religious intolerant and that with the new president, comes good things. Happy 4th to you all. God Bless everyone, and especially those who risk life and limb so that we can type however we feel about anything on to these pages without fear of persecution.

So, I am shopping at my favorite market called Wegman’s in Virginia…This post is going somewhere completely different

Wegman’s is an awesome place to buy groceries. They have a huge selection of organic items and they also have very affordable prices on everyday grocery items. I get lost in the “home and holiday” area, barely making it out without hurting my bank account on some new glasses or plates. I go there to buy balloons for bdays, awesome fruit tarts in the Patisserie and cards and little gifts for people. And I get a few groceries as well.:)

As I was walking by the coffee shop (yes, the grocery store is fab!!!) I noticed the woman in the bakery baking bread with her head wrapped, clearly a Muslim woman. Then I looked at the Sushi bar and saw an Asian woman wrapping sushi, I looked over at the sandwich shop and saw a white guy (American) preparing some subs for the lunch crowd. And I could go through every department and find people from many different religious backgrounds from many different nations. This is the case all over the D.C. metro area and I really do think it is wonderful.

Many races, nationalities, religions working under one roof together in harmony. There was no yelling, or segregation or persecution. People were talking to one another and smiling and interacting (Wegman’s also hires good people) and I thought why the hell can’t the world leaders act this way? So we are letting the WORLD-not just our country, but the WORLD as we know it crumble to pieces because world leaders act like a–holes. I don’t understand why more people are not in the streets everyday protesting about the way our government leaders and other ones around the world are not doing their jobs! I wish that fire could be put under people’s behinds to make them realize that all of the bad things that are happening could be stopped if proper action was taken. If we had proper leadership and they followed laws already on the books. If I were someone with any form of celebrity, I would start a movement of some kind.

We do not need another bureaucratic machine to tell us more things that we already know. We need to just do what makes sense to pretty much anyone with, hmmmmm, I don’t know a fourth grade education. So here is my unsolicited advice. If anyone disagrees, keep moving on. This post is like our country now, an oligarchy. What is mandated will be done, naysayers beware:)

First: Close our borders completely, because we are freaking vulnerable. I can’t help with the amnesty mess, just start with shutting ANYONE from moving into our country for the time being.

Second: Stop giving money to countries that hate us.

Third: Do not create new programs for a free ride for people because we are broke.

Fourth: Make people that do get free housing and food that are physically able work for it in some way.

Fifth: Have a stricter system for deciding who gets assistance and hire people that are educated and intelligent to run the system so that they make smart decisions based on real life scenarios.

For example: my friend desperately needs disability with a stroke and sepsis and can’t work and her electricity is about to get cut off and she is 60 years old!! She gets 200 dollars a month for food and no rent assistance and is selling beloved items to stay alive. So, I am not against help for people that are DESERVING of it.

Sixth: Hire an accountant or 200 because we have no budget!!!

Seventh: Clean out the White House and all of Capitol Hill and start over. FROM SCRATCH…

I would love to be of service to other countries and give them some tips, but I am too aggravated and irritated with our mess to give assistance at this time. When the powers that be grow a brain and use it in the right way, then perhaps I can offer suggestions to other areas of the world.

I am done.

So sick and sad about what our country has turned into or not turned into…

I may be new to writing on this blog, but I am not new to blogging, or social media. That being said, I don’t have much more to say tonight except for our government and administration in general is displaying no backbone at all. I am independent and could really care less what anyone’s political party is. The basic facts are: Paris march occurred and no major member of our government participated but 44 other world leaders did. The slaughter in Nigeria just happened and it is virtually impossible to find it on the news. Since I heard of it from a friend, I have watched the news for 5 hours and saw less than a minute mentioned. Our military social media got hacked by some extremist group making us look like fools. But our freaking government is too scared to call it terrorism or Islamic extremism. If it walks like a duck and looks like a duck and acts like a duck. It is a f—–ing duck!

We have such a wonderful country where all of these people from different countries get away from restrictive regimes. But then many come here and complain about our government. I don’t understand why we keep allowing so many people to come here from areas where we have known enemies by the millions! I am not racist. I am a nationalist and wish more American people would wake the hell up. Only GOD can save us because we are in a deep mess and our leadership is afraid to offend…
